Warner’s Wet Room Services

What is a wet room?

An alternative to the traditional shower or bathroom, the wet room is fast becoming a popular renovation in homes. It is sometimes referred to as a walk-in shower. The room is fully tanked (using the same materials used to make swimming pools) in order to make it completely water tight. The shower tray is installed in between the floor joists and then tiled onto. This makes the whole room one level and step-free.

What is the difference between a wet room and a bathroom?

While the room is now fully sealed, fully tiled and floor level, it eliminates the need for a shower tray and enclosure.  Although there is no need for a screen, adding a screen can prevent unwanted splashes as well as adding to the overall aesthetic. You can still include a bath in your new space and the addition of a freestanding bath is a nice finishing touch. Another option is adding underfloor heating too!

Why choose a wet room?

  • Greater floor space and suits any size room.
  • Easily accessible – No step into a bath or shower
  • Low maintenance – Easier to clean
  • Completely waterproof – Minimising the risk of leaks
  • Stylish and modern – CAD service available to visualise your room
  • Adds value to your property

Why are our wet rooms different?

When using the term wet room, it can conjure up ideas of green vinyl flooring and a plastic grate in the middle of the floor. However, this does not have to be the case! The great thing about wet rooms is that whilst upgrading your showering experience, there are also many ways to bring style to your room. We start with quality tiles and certainly have a lot of choices for you. The furniture can be freestanding, modular or fitted. And then you can decide between a whole range of different colour and styles of brassware. As you can surely see by our pictures, there are many possibilities!
