Bathroom with Denim Blue Fitted Furniture

One of our customers came to us wanting to renovate their bathroom space.

They had a vision to turn an outdated room into a bathroom that encompassed both their style and their practical needs for a bathroom. The main focus points were a P-shaped shower bath, a fitted screen and as much storage as possible using fitted furniture.

Complete renovations can be a good chance to really change the whole room from layout to style. Sometimes there is limited space and options but there are ways to make the most of a renovation like this one. We always go through all the options you have to really optimise your room. First of all, removing carpet is a good idea in bathrooms as these can harbour bacteria and cause mould to grow. Although electric showers can be useful, you will generally get a more powerful shower when changing to thermostatic one. The space was utilised here by adding a p-shaped bath which gives that little more room when showering.

For the rest of the space, changing a pedestal basin to a semi-recessed in fitted furniture is always going to produce more storage. By adding a concealed cistern this creates a longer worktop and again more space for those much needed products. Having a two in one cabinet and mirror is again a great choice for creating storage and combining this with the usual bathroom mirror.

Going for neutral tiles helps create the illusion of more space, and will be a timeless feature in your bathroom. Contrasting this with a nice warm tone of furniture means you create a focal point and adds to that relaxing feel. Fitted furniture is going to make the area easier to clean as there are no nooks for dust to gather.

Using lighting adds nice touches to the warmth of the room and these can be seen in the cabinet mounted light and in the extractor and downlights.

Opting for a concealed cistern and back to wall pan means that the room feels bigger creates cleaner lines with all the pipework being concealed.
